一、课程简介

课程名称：大学英语3

课程性质、目的和任务：大学英语3课程为海南医学院非英语专业本科生第三学期的公共必修课程。该课程的目的就是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，逐步加强听说，使他们基本能用英语交流信息，在听、说、读、写、译方面达到教育部《大学英语课程要求》所提出的基本要求。帮助学生掌握良好的学习方法，打下较为扎实的语言基础，提高文化素养，提高各项语言技能，为以后进一步学习打好基础。

大学英语教学应能激发大学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生全面提升学生对英语学习的再认识；应注重培养和提高学生的个性化学习及自主学习能力、自我发展能力和可持续性发展能力；应结合我校学生具体特点，营造个性化学习的环境，在培养他们积极主动的学习方法和思维方法、助其形成有效的学习策略的同时，提高他们的创新意识、创新能力、应用能力、分析和解决问题能力，注重学生听、说、读、写、译，尤其是听、说能力的全面提高，为学生今后熟练运用外语这一语言技能打下坚实的基础。同时，大学英语应充分运用多媒体网络等现代化教育技术，开展计算机多媒体教学，建立网络学习平台，采用全方位、立体化、网络化的教学手段，提高教学效率和教学质量。

教学方法：在教学中坚持理论联系实际，运用课堂讲授、视听法、任务教学法、交际法等多种方法，充分调动教与学两个方面积极性，切实提高教学效果。

成绩评定方法：形成性评价和终结性考核两种方式结合。

主要教学改革：计算机和移动技术辅助教学、微课辅助教学、翻转课堂等新型教学模式改革

二、教学目标要求

大学英语三级教学要求学生达到如下水平：

①听的理解能力：能听懂英语授课；能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座；能听懂慢速英语节目，语速为每分钟120词左右；能掌握其中心大意，抓住要点和相关细节，领会讲话者的观点和态度。能运用听力技巧帮助理解。

②口语表达能力：能在学习过程中用英语交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论；能就日常话题和英语国家人士进行交谈，能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言，表达思想清楚，语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中较好使用会话策略。

③阅读理解能力：能够读懂一般性题材的英文文章，阅读速度达到每分钟60词，在快速阅读篇幅较长材料时，阅读速度达到每分钟90词；能就阅读材料进行略读或寻读；能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。

④书面表达能力：能描述个人经历、事件、观感、情感等；能用常见的应用文体完成一般写作任务；能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出110词的短文，能使用恰当的写作技能。

⑤翻译能力：能借助词典对一般性题材的文章进行英汉互译，英汉译速为每小时260英语单词，汉英译速为每小时210个汉字，译文基本传达原文的意义，符合中英文表达习惯；能借助词典对与专业相关的文章、介绍、提要、广告、产品说明书等翻译成汉语；能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。

⑥推荐词汇量：三级起点词汇要求约为4400词汇，三级要求掌握的词汇量约为600词汇，其中积极词汇要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括口头和书面表达两个方面。

四、学时分配

本大纲供非英语专业学生第三学期使用，其中讲授68学时，自主学习24学时。挑选《新视野大学英语》第三版读写教程第三册和视听说教程第三册各6个单元进行课堂授课，其余单元放入自主学习学时由学生自主学习。
