课程性质、目的和任务:大学英语2课程为海南医学院非英语专业本科生第二学期的公共必修课程。该课程的目的就是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,逐步加强听说,使他们基本能用英语交流信息,在听、说、读、写、译方面达到教育部《大学英语课程要求》所提出的基本要求。帮助学生掌握良好的学习方法,打下较为扎实的语言基础,提高文化素养,提高各项语言技能,为以后进一步学习打好基础。
大学英语教学应能激发大学生学习英语的兴趣,帮助学生全面提升学生对英语学习的再认识;应注重培养和提高学生的个性化学习及自主学习能力、自我发展能力和可持续性发展能力;应结合我校学生具体特点,营造个性化学习的环境,在培养他们积极主动的学习方法和思维方法、助其形成有效的学习策略的同时,提高他们的创新意识、创新能力、应用能力、分析和解决问题能力,注重学生听、说、读、写、译,尤其是听、说能力的全面提高,为学生今后熟练运用外语这一语言技能打下坚实的基础。同时,大学英语应充分运用多媒体网络等现代化教育技术,开展计算机多媒体教学,建立网络学习平台,采用全方位、立体化、网络化的教学手段,提高教学效率和教学质量。
教学方法:在教学中坚持理论联系实际,运用课堂讲授、视听法、任务教学法、交际法等多种方法,充分调动教与学两个方面积极性,切实提高教学效果。
成绩评定方法:形成性评价和终结性考核两种方式结合。
主要教学改革:计算机和移动技术辅助教学、微课辅助教学、翻转课堂等新型教学模式改革
二、教学目标要求
大学英语二级教学要求学生达到如下水平:
①听的理解能力:能听懂英语授课;能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座;能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语节目,语速为每分钟90词左右;能掌握其中心大意,抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。
②口语表达能力:能在学习过程中用英语交流,并能就某一主题进行讨论;能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言,表达比较清楚,语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。
③阅读理解能力:能够基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章,阅读速度达到每分钟60词,在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时,阅读速度达到每分钟90词;能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。
④书面表达能力:能描述个人经历、事件、观感、情感等;能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出100词的短文,内容基本完整、用词恰当,语篇连贯。能在一般或应用写作中使用恰当的写作技能。
⑤翻译能力:能借助词典对题材熟悉的文字进行简单的英汉互译,英汉译速为每小时230个英语单词,汉英译速为每小时180个汉字。译文基本流畅,能在翻译时使用适当的翻译技巧。
⑥推荐词汇量:二级起点词汇要求约为3800词汇,二级要求掌握的词汇量约为600词汇,其中积极词汇要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用,包括口头和书面表达两个方面。

四、学时分配
本大纲供非英语专业学生第二学期使用,其中讲授68学时,自主学习24学时。挑选《新视野大学英语》第三版读写教程第二册和视听说教程第二册各6个单元进行课堂授课,其余单元放入自主学习学时由学生自主学习。

五、考核方式
(一)形成性评价(70%):考勤成绩5%+课堂表现10%+作业20%+自主学习30%+课堂小组合作15%+期中能力测试20%。形成性评价低于60分者,不得参加终结性评价。
(二)终结性考核(30%):采用闭卷考试。终结性考核的卷面成绩如低于50分,课程总成绩计不及格。
(三)成绩构成:形成性评价70%+终结性考核30%。
