一、课程简介

课程名称：大学英语1

学时：讲授56学时，自主学习20学时。

课程性质、目的和任务：大学英语1课程为海南医学院非英语专业本科生第一学期的公共必修课程。该课程的目的就是培养学生的英语综合应用能力，逐步加强听说，使他们基本能用英语交流信息，在听、说、读、写、译方面达到教育部《大学英语课程要求》所提出的基本要求。帮助学生掌握良好的学习方法，打下较为扎实的语言基础，提高文化素养，提高各项语言技能，为以后进一步学习打好基础。

大学英语教学应能激发大学生学习英语的兴趣，帮助学生全面提升学生对英语学习的再认识；应注重培养和提高学生的个性化学习及自主学习能力、自我发展能力和可持续性发展能力；应结合我校学生具体特点，营造个性化学习的环境，在培养他们积极主动的学习方法和思维方法、助其形成有效的学习策略的同时，提高他们的创新意识、创新能力、应用能力、分析和解决问题能力，注重学生听、说、读、写、译，尤其是听、说能力的全面提高，为学生今后熟练运用外语这一语言技能打下坚实的基础。同时，大学英语应充分运用多媒体网络等现代化教育技术，开展计算机多媒体教学，建立网络学习平台，采用全方位、立体化、网络化的教学手段，提高教学效率和教学质量。

教学方法：在教学中坚持理论联系实际，运用课堂讲授、视听法、任务教学法、交际法等多种方法，充分调动教与学两个方面积极性，切实提高教学效果。

成绩评定方法：形成性评价和终结性考核两种方式结合。

主要教学改革：计算机和移动技术辅助教学、微课辅助教学、翻转课堂等新型教学模式改革

二、教学目标要求

大学英语一级教学目标要求学生达到如下水平：

①听力理解能力：能听懂英语授课；能听懂日常英语谈话和一般性题材讲座；能基本听懂英语国家慢速英语节目，语速为每分钟70词左右；能掌握其中心大意，抓住要点。能运用基本的听力技巧帮助理解。

②口语表达能力：能在学习过程中用英语交流，并能就某一主题进行讨论；能就所熟悉的话题经准备后作简短发言，表达比较清楚，语音、语调基本正确。能在交谈中使用基本的会话策略。

③阅读理解能力：能够基本读懂一般性题材的英文文章，阅读速度达到每分钟50词，在快速阅读篇幅较长、难度略低的材料时，阅读速度达到每分钟80词；能在阅读中使用有效的阅读方法。

④书面表达能力：能描述个人经历、事件、观感、情感等；能就一般性话题或提纲在半小时内写出90词的短文，内容基本完整、用词恰当，语篇连贯；能在一般写作中恰当使用相应的写作技能。

⑤翻译能力：能借助词典将内容熟悉的文章进行英汉互译，无重大语言错误。英汉译速为每小时200单词，汉英译速为每小时150个汉字。

⑥推荐词汇量：一级起点词汇要求约为3200词汇，一级要求掌握的词汇量约为600词汇，其中积极词汇要求学生能够在认知的基础上学会熟练运用，包括口头和书面表达两个方面。

Unit 1 Fresh Start

4. Learn to write a paragraph with a topic sentence supported by details.

1. Key words, phrases and some useful sentence patterns;

2. Organizing a paragraph with a general statement supported by specific details;

3. Reading for the main ideas in paragraphs;

4. Understanding different techniques of opening and closing a speech.

Unit 2Loving Parents, Loving Children

【目标要求】

1. Understand the main idea and structure of Text A and Text B;

2. Master the words, expressions and word formation in Text A;

3. Grasp the reading skill in Text B: How to read in thought groups;

4.Talk about the love between the parents and children;

5. Write an essay creatively based on the understanding of the text.

【教学内容】

3. Structured writing: A paragraph of problem-solution pattern.

4. Reading skills: How to read in thought groups.

Unit 3Digital Campus

【目标要求】

1. Understand the main idea and structure of Text A and Text B;

2. Master the words, expressions and word formation in Text A;

3. Grasp the reading skill in Text B:Distinguishing between facts and opinions;

4.Understand the influence of Internet on college students;

5. Write a composition with the structure “cause and effect”.

【教学内容】

1. The main idea and the structure of Text A;

2. The key phrases and expressions in Text A;

3. Structured writing: A paragraph of cause and effect.

4. Reading skills:Distinguishing between facts and opinions.

【重点和难点】

1.Key words, phrases and some useful sentence patterns;

2. Skills: Learning to read with the skill “Distinguishing between facts and opinions” and writing a passage with this structure “cause and effect”;

3. Understanding the influence of Internet on college students;

4. Writing paragraphs with the structure “cause and effect”.

Unit 4Heroes of our time

【目标要求】

1. Understand the main idea and structure of Text A and Text B;

2. Master the words, expressions and word formation in Text A;

3. Grasp the reading skill in Text B: Scanning;

4. Understand the true meaning of heroes and talk about how an ordinary person works to be a hero of his own life ;

5. Read with the skill “paragraphs of question-example-conclusion pattern” and write a composition in the pattern.

四、学时分配

本大纲供非英语专业学生第一学期使用，其中讲授56学时，自主学习20学时。挑选《新视野大学英语》第三版读写教程第一册和视听说教程第一册各5个单元进行课堂授课，其余单元放入自主学习学时由学生自主学习。
